After semi-retiring from many years working in the corporate world, my love for dogs eventually led me to a new (and most enjoyable) career as a professional dog groomer. I graduated from dog grooming school in 2007, and I am an active member of the National Dog Grooming Association of America.

My husband Bruce & I have a Jack Russell Terrier named Lucy, and a Rat Terrier named Holly. Our dogs are our "kids" now that our human children are grown, and are very much adored! Here is a picture of our sweet girls!

Lucy, our Jack Russell Terrier went blind in 2004 and I run a support web site for owners of blind dogs at:
Blinddogs.net  where we also list blind dogs available for adoption through rescue organizations across the country.

I do volunteer grooming at the Washington County Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter every Monday. The Bonnie Hays shelter always has a wonderful selection of pets waiting for a new home, so if you're thinking of adding a new fur-family member be sure and check their adoption listings through Petfinder.com at this link: Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter.

Bruce & I also enjoy being foster parents to Rat Terriers in Oregon through a national rescue organization called Ratbone Rescues.
